What happens to what you tell us
Short version: what you send is used to answer you, and nothing else.
What is collected
Only what you give: when you order, your name, email, delivery address, phone number if you add it, and what you bought; when you write through a form, your name, email and message; if you make an account, your details and a scrambled form of your password that nobody can read back. Nothing is bought from anyone, and nothing is inferred about you.
What it is used for
To make and send your order and tell you how it is going, to answer you, to tell you when a piece you asked about is possible again, or to send the letters you chose. Each is a separate choice and one does not sign you up for the others.
Payments
Card payments are taken by Stripe on its own secure page. Your card details go to Stripe and never to this website. Stripe’s privacy policy covers that part.
Cookies and your browser
One cookie keeps your bag and your sign-in while you shop. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. The pieces you keep and have looked at are stored in your own browser so the site can show them back to you; clearing your browser data removes them.
The House counts, without knowing who you are, which pieces are looked at and which printed cards are scanned, so Sancia knows what people come for.
Who else sees it
Only the companies needed to run the shop: Stripe for payments, the website host that stores the shop, the email service that sends your order emails, and the carrier that delivers your parcel (your name and address). Nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
Leaving
Ask to see what is held about you, or to be removed, and it will be done in full, apart from order records the law requires a business to keep. There is no list you cannot leave.
